A few years ago I was so against the hype surrounding the release of Goblet of Fire -- the book.  I didn't know what all the hoopla was about the Harry Potter series.  Mind you I've never heard of the book until GoF was almost released and talks of making a movie about the boy wizard exploded in the early 2000.

It's about this man who met the girl of his dreams years ago but didn't realize it until years later when she walked in to his life once again.

I'd like to be able to do more writing; find enough time to sit down, relax and finish whatever manuscript I am currently working on without the rest of the world getting in the way (OR real life, for that matter).  But alas, in order for me to be able to sit back and just concentrate on my manuscript, I'll need to put everything on hold, which I ( Read more... )

I'm born under the Year of the Monkey, which describes me down to a T -- or almost anyway if you read the Monkey traits. -grins-

 I try and make a scrapbook or file them in an album according to date.  Mind you I'm bad at doing such thing.  I mean, I tried compiling an album of myself and...well, let's just say that I jump from my early years to current years then flash back to my early years. -LoL-

 I love taking pictures and capturing moments on film (whether it be on still-photo or moving cameras).  I am more comfortable snapping away, taking candid shots of everybody (I believe candid shots brings out the REAL PERSON) as opposed to being on the opposite end.

:::sheepish grin::: You know those novels/books that some refer to as smut books?  Well, I can read more than one of those (provided I like the plot and the story ain't too draggy) in a day and just be happy getting lost in this make-believe world that the author intricately wove for her readers.
 

 I keep on telling myself to start early each and every year.  And by "start early" I mean before summer I have to have an idea on what the people I'm going to be giving gifts to wants or might like.  -sighs- Unfortunately that has yet to happen to me and for now, I'm forever stuck rushing to get everyone presents every year for Christmas. -pouts-

 Although I only did it once a few years ago (and I'd want to do it again given the chance to do so) was to go toboganning with my sister and some of our friends.  It was fun, exhilirating and...well, it really kept my adrenalin going even if I had to hike up this really steep hill and slide back down again. :)
